Description:

Provide support and training to new and existing stores to establish a strong foundation upon opening and position them for success. If you are looking for an opportunity to put your retail knowledge to work and are comfortable traveling, this opportunity is for you. Batteries Plus is looking for an individual to help our franchisees maximize sales and profitability by providing them with procedures, knowledge, and ongoing support. This position can be based in any city located near a major airport and requires extensive travel throughout the United State. Candidates should be self-motivated, travel savvy, flexible, and results-oriented, with strong analytical and communication skills.


Duties:

Field Consultant / Field Trainer / Store Set

Franchise Relations
•Ensure that franchisee operates store in compliance with system requirements and standards.
•Serve as key liaison and assume lead support role during a store’s first weeks of operation by providing general training and assistance in operating the business.

Business Development
•Act as primary trainer of owner and staff in the field during early months of store’s existence.
•Work with owner to implement and refine key retailing and commercial sales practices.
•Provide support and guidance to owner in establishing weekly and daily business goals.

Qualifications:

•Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
•Must be willing to do extensive training in corporate store environment. (2-3 month training program)
•Working knowledge of MS Office; ability to adapt learning to incorporate new technology.
•Strong communication skills; able to make presentations to groups of employees or customers to quickly and effectively establish credibility.
•Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills. Must be able to influence an outcome without having direct control.
•Thorough knowledge of business plans and budgets. Ability to perform calculations related to business plans and budgets.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Process oriented with good project management skills
•Must have strong ability to work autonomously. At the same time, must demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
•Ability to travel up to 90% via airplane and vehicle with overnight stays required. Must have clean driving record and ability to rent a vehicle
